My neighbor’s dog’s incessant barking

Is driving me absolutely mad.

 

It is ceaseless, unceasing, constant,

Continual, unabating, interminable,

 

Endless, unending, never-ending,

Everlasting, eternal, perpetual,

 

Continuous, nonstop, around-the-clock,

Uninterrupted, unbroken, unremitting,

 

Persistent, relentless, unrelenting,

Unrelieved, sustained.

 

Did I forget to mention

It does not stop for any reason.

 

I can’t figure out why they even have a dog.

They hire someone to walk him.

 

They tie him outside when he becomes

Too much in the house.

 

I try to find some kind of

Spiritual reason for this torture,

 

But I only see that the dog is unhappy.

He looks healthy and shiny but

 

I think he is living a life of frustration

Or that he is mentally ill.
